Wildlife artist Aldo Chiappe (b. 12 Dec 1962) 
specializes in the flora and fauna of his native South America. His 
educational posters of Argentine ecosystems have been widely 
published by the Argentine Wildlife Foundation 
(Fundación Vida Silvestre), the country's most important 
non-governmental conservation organization. He has illustrated 
several books, including Mammals of Tierra del Fuego and The Ones that Are Leaving 
(Juan Carlos Chebéz); Noah's Soldiers (Marcelo D. Beccaceci), and 
 Guide to the Birds of Argentina (Martín de la Peña).
 
Chiappe's works have been shown throughout Argentina, including an exhibit at the Casa Rosada, 
the nation's capital building, Buenos Aires, as well as at galleries in the United States.
 He was commissioned by PANGAEA to create the 
PATAGONIA: El fin del mundo / The End of the Earth poster.
