ROBERTO ARREOLA ALEMÓN

Roberto Arreola Alemón is the illustrator for OF TWO WORLDS: Frogs, Toads and Salamanders of Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula.

He is a biologist working in scientific communication for Comisi�n Nacional para el Conocimiento y Uso de la Biodiversidad (CONABIO), the division of the Mexican government that works to preserve the nation's wildlife and biodiversity.

Roberto previously served as an illustrator for the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) Mexico Office, and as biologist and environmental supervisor for offshore oil platforms near Campeche, Mexico. Educated at Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, he has also worked as a park ranger and project leader on Contoy Island, an important national bird sanctuary of the Yucatan. He presently lives in Mexico City, Mexico.
