ROBERTO ARREOLA ALEMÓN

Roberto Arreola Alemón is the illustrator for DE DOS MUNDOS: Sapos, ranas y salamandras en la Península de Yucatán, México / OF TWO WORLDS: Frogs, Toads and Salamanders of Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula.

He is a biologist in scientific communication for the Government of Mexico's national commission on biodiversity, CONABIO.

Roberto previously served as a biologist and environmental supervisor for offshore oil platforms near Campeche, Mexico. Educated at Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. He has also worked as park ranger and project leader on Contoy Island, an important national bird sanctuary of the Yucatan, for which he illustrated the Plate Identification Guide of Contoy Island Birds. He lives in Mexico City, Mexico.
